Every Friday now I will dedicate my writings to a picture post, there’s beauty all around us, and I hope to share some of what I’ve seen with you.
Summer is washed away by the crack that spread across the sky, letting the water seep down and wash the heat away.
I had been keeping an eye open for the first signs of Autumn, and here it came with a small clumping of leaves that got old before their friends… what did they see that drove them to it?
I’m not going to say that it came suddely, or without warning, but with every year that I get older, the time each season occupies is less and less. When I was sixteen a year was 1/16th of my life, now … it’s less; and with it Autumn is again at my door, and I find myself looking up into the colored leaves, lost in thought.
Looking up at the colorful display is one thing, but seeing these leaves covering the ground felt very much like putting summer on the hanger and into the closet to bring out next year.
With the changing of seasons and the much welcome rain I might make another trip up to the waterfalls, it’s been a fast and furious week, and I feel ready for the weekend.

These are great photos…and as much as I love the rain..I hate to say it..but the bottom one is my favorite…I love the colors…it’s a perfect picture to capture the fall season. I breath deep, in knowing that the weekend is around the corner…I need rest..and I am in hopes that the weekend will wrap it’s arms around me and carry my woes away with it. Great post…I look forward to “hanging” my summer soon…

Amazing how fast those leaves change — literally, one day you look up and BAM! New season!

I thought the first picture was a flooded street until I clicked it. The beauty of autumn surpasses Summer, and comes very close to passing Spring, but after a Michigan winter…

Beautiful! I loved the statement “What drove them to it.”
