Lost in the Moment I Found You

Love, Me, Philosophy

There is a moment where time stands still, an event plastered on the walls of the halls of my memory.  In this frozen place in time I find no other, just you and I.  I see your eyes, penetrating, intoxicating, sweet as honey, and rich as gold; a gateway to a universe beyond description.  There is that moment when we knew we had found each other.  The peace that comes from finding the other half to your soul and knowing that forever more you can breath easy, knowing that no matter what the world throws our way, we will always be together, and I take strength in that.

Generally my memory is bad, I have trouble remembering anything, each moment from my past will slip through my fingers like dry sand… but with you our first moments ring like a bell, clear as a mountain spring, glorious as a sunrise, a waterfall, or a rainbow.  We found each other, what a miracle, what a joy, oh what pleasure it gives me knowing you are out there.  I close my eyes and hear your voice.  Before we met I didn’t know I needed you, now I yearn for the moments we can spend together, and every moment apart is an emptiness, impatient to be filled by your presence.

The first time I drown in your eyes, I found your smile and it carried me through; I caught your laugh on the breeze and with it life blossomed and I found fullness and purpose.

Hello you.  I’m glad we met.

Finding the love of your life. You describe it beautifully.
It feels like a cool mountain stillness, where you feel the beauty of the world.
    And the safety of peace.

Truly poetic. You have a way with words I simply don’t. Too much training in business writing I think!

I remember the moment I first met my soul-mate and I will never forget it. What an amazing description!
